Director Ejecutivo del Centro de Investigación en Ecosistemas de la Patagonia (CIEP). Doctor y máster en Oceanografía de la Universidad  Southampton, Inglaterra. Es especialista en Flujos de Carbono, Productividad Primaria y Bacteriana, y Carbono Orgánico Disuelto.
